  3. 1 onion, sliced
  4. 3 cloves garlic, crushed
  5. 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
  6. 1 long green chilli, deseeded, chopped
  7. 2 teaspoons mustard seeds
  8. 4 tablespoons vindaloo curry paste
  9. 2 cups water
  10. 2 tablespoons brown vinegar
